Self-Service CardMate terminals operate as networked peripheral devices facilitating credit card acceptance for self-service car wash bays and vacuums. The CardMate self-service terminal is simply swiped to activate and has a convenient water-proof stop button on the front right below the display.,For the safety of both the car wash customer and the car wash owner, maximums and minimums per transaction are configurable in the CardWorks software for each equipment type.

CardMate self-service terminals are engineered to withstand the harsh environment of the car wash bay. They are constructed of 14-gauge stainless steel and have an integrated 4x20 character display housed behind a ¼ Lexan® window to keep customers informed of the amount spent, time remaining, available balance, and instruction prompts.

They support Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as well as
WashGear Fleet & Prepaid (Gift) cards.

All terminations inside the CardMate are Molex ® connectors making installation and maintenance a breeze. The CardMate terminal is sealed against water and operates over a high speed Ethernet network, the most widely used network technology available.

CardMate Unitec Terminals are capable of activating any wash option on compatable Unitec auto cashiers with a single swipe and the CardMate won't accept card transactions if the automatic wash is out of service. CardMates also can't be activated for the same wash multiple times by accident, which would result in duplicate card charges like many of our competitors. (Auto cashier not included)
