D&S Car Wash Systems, Inc. was founded in 1972 as a manufacturer of steel safes and coin boxes. Revolutionized the industry with the first round stainless steel vacuum in the market in the mid 70's. Then started making self serve equipment. Launched their first automatic in 1988, the 5000, which has become known as the bulletproof automatic because of its dependability. All of our automatics are hydraulically driven and utilize an air blow down system as opposed to the weep system that so many companies still use. Sold in 2004 to a group of investors, they have changed the carwash industry again by rolling out the Odyssey which is the first friction unit that washes both front and back as well profiling the complete car or truck, not just the front and back.
